Pokhara & Sarangkot Hotels

Sarangkot Cable Car

The rope car will take passengers on a nearly 2.3-kilometer journey from Sadibagar, on the bank of Fewa Lake, to Sarangkot Hill in eight minutes, while they enjoy views of Pokhara’s mountains, lakes, and green forests. The cable car has a capacity of 1,500 passengers per hour.

Fares for the trip to and from Sarangkot have also been set. Nepalis will pay Rs 600 per person, while Asian tourists will pay Rs 700. For tourists from other countries, the ticket will cost Rs 800. Tripathi also mentions that students and the elderly will receive a 20 to 25% discount. There are 18 gondolas in the system, 17 for passengers and one for cargo. In Sarangkot, the company has also built a view tower, and a restaurant is in the works.

Detailed Itinerary

Drive Kathmandu to Pokhara- DAY 1

On the way, stop at Kurintar and take the cable car to Manakamana Temple. You can eat breakfast and lunch wherever you want. You will arrive in Pokhara in the afternoon. And we will do boating.

Pokhara To Sarangkot Again Return in Pokhara- DAY 2

After breakfast, we will depart for Sarangkot View Point, followed by visits to Davis Fall, Guptshore Cave, Mahindra Cave, Chamero gufa, and World Peace Pagoda on the same day. We can go on a Cable Car ride to get your mood back on track.

Explore Pokhara and back to Kathmandu- DAY 3

We’ll explore the lake and its surroundings until 1:30 a.m. We’ll drive back to Kathmandu with happy memories. Today, pack your belongings and drive to Kathmandu while admiring the magnificent Annapurna Mountain, green hills, rivers, and beautiful villages. You will arrive in Kathmandu in the afternoon.
