Kuri Village to Kalinchowk Bhagwati Temple and Back to Kathmandu-DAY 2

1 night, 2 days Kuri village Hike on Travel & Trek has created a Kalinchowk Bhagwati tour to allow you to get the most out of your visit to the Kalinchowk Bhagwati temple and Kuri village. Kuri village is popular with tourists because it is located at the base of the cable car and has several hotels that offer amenities such as attached toilets, hot and cold water, meals, campfires, music systems, and many more. We will stay overnight in Kuri village on the first day. The next morning, we can either hike for an hour and a half or take a cable car for about 5 minutes to reach Kalinchowk Bhagawati temple. We’ll return to Kuri after we’ve explored the area for a while. We’ll make our way back to Kuri. We will have lunch in Kuri village, rest for a while, explore the area, and then return to Kathmandu.

Difficulties

This is a moderately difficult hike. Trekkers with average fitness and a camping sense should be able to handle this. The altitude does not rise too high, but as with any trek that rises above 3000 meters, it is important to be aware of the risks of altitude sickness.

Best season to Trek

This trek, like others in Nepal, is best in the autumn (September-November) and spring (March-May) seasons. Views are also likely to be good in the winter (December-February), and the altitude does not rise too high, making this a manageable trek in the winter with a little cold-weather preparation.

Getting there and back

This trek begins and ends in Charikot, which is approximately 130 kilometers/80 miles (4-5 hours) northeast of Kathmandu. Although public end express buses are available, it is much faster and more comfortable to take a private vehicle, such as a jeep, Which does not stop in every village.
